Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on the 27th of January, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was previously an official of the government. She was the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.
Before joining the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. Nauert was also acting Secretary of State for Foreign Diplomacy and Public Relations in the Trump administration, between March and October 2018. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
